Resources: The before and after of bankruptcy

Prior to filing bankruptcy, the best resource you could use is your attorney. Your lawyer will take you step by step through bankruptcy and assist you with the legal questions and wonders. In order for your bankruptcy to run smooth, you will have to provide documentation to your lawyer. The items include your taxes, creditor statements, and monthly statements for mortgage, stocks, bonds, bank account, etc.

The resources that you need to file bankruptcy are already the at the tip of your fingers. Once you have collected and provided all of the right documentation, you should be able to sit back and allow the stress to start rolling off your shoulders.
After filing bankruptcy, you should be able to resume normal life and begin creating paths in your life that were not available to you prior to bankruptcy. Once you have obtained a copy of your bankruptcy discharge, you will want to send this discharge to the three major credit bureaus. You will be solely responsible for your credit report from the time after bankruptcy.
